How to have a Great O

Hey, guys! It’s Katy the Detox Gal™. Today we’re going to be talking about how to have a great O. That’s right! You read that correctly. A great O.

You might be thinking – wait, I thought Katy only talked about food. And well… you’d be right about that!

Surprise! We are going to dive into a Great O recipe using one of my favorite fruits – the orange! This recipe is so easy, it’s only 3 ingredients.

Oranges are rich in antioxidants and can help combat illnesses and infections. Give your immune system a boost by integrating oranges into your diet regularly.

Here is an easy, simple recipe to get some orangey goodness into your life.

How to have a Great O

You will need:

  • 6-10 oranges
  • 1-2 cups of spinach
  • 1/4 cup basil or cilantro

Depending on how thick you like your smoothie, you can peel and add your oranges in whole, or you can juice them. Add spinach and basil or cilantro, and blend. And if you’re in a bind, you can always add in 2 cups of the best quality orange juice you can get – instead of using fresh oranges.

Sip, and enjoy!

Great O Meal or Snack

This smoothie is great as a small meal, or as a snack between meals. It tastes absolutely heavenly. It’s got a great blend of salts and sugars to help you stay balanced throughout the day – and there’s no limit to how often you can drink this!

If I’m feeling a little down and I need a pick-me-up, this is one of my favorite my go to drinks.
